Dr. Opeyemi Banjoko is a board certified Internist. Her initial training was at the University of llorin, in Ilorin, Nigeria, receiving her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, followed by her Internship at Military Hospital Ikoyi, in Lagos, Nigeria. She then completed her Residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University in affiliation with Englewood Hospital & Medical Center, in Englewood, New Jersey. After completing her residency, she moved to Pueblo to begin her career. In April 2012, she established her own practice, Hope Internal Medicine of Pueblo, PLLC.
Dr. Banjoko has great compassion for her patients and serving the community. She realized very early on during her career that she wanted to be an adult medicine doctor and help in preventing disease. She attained her dream by building her practice around her ideals which include spending more time with patients fact to face and listening to their concerns. Dr. Banjoko's faith in God has played an important role in her professional and personal choices.
